Fabinho's message for Curtis Jones after Liverpool youngster makes Premier League debut at Bournemouth

Fabinho offered up a message of congratulations for Curtis Jones as the young midfielder made his Premier League debut for Liverpool .

The 18-year-old came off the bench during the Reds' comfortable 3-0 win at Bournemouth for his first taste of league action.

He replaced Andy Robertson during the second half at the Vitality Stadium as Liverpool restored an 11-point lead at the top of the table.

Jones’ introduction on the south coast underlines the potential seen in him by many at the club, following his impressive showing in the Carabao Cup victory over Arsenal in October.

And team-mate Fabinho was one of the first to congratulate Jones on his big occasion.

The Brazilian is currently out of action after picking up an ankle injury during the Reds’ Champions League clash with Napoli last month.

But he was watching Liverpool’s victory from afar, and took to Instagram to congratulate Jones on his league debut.

The victory over Bournemouth served as a perfect warm-up for Liverpool ahead of a big week for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Reds will be looking to secure their qualification from the Champions League group stages when they travel to Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday.
