Fabinho reveals Liverpool dressing room reaction to Alisson goal against West Brom

Fabinho has revealed how the Liverpool dressing room have been reacting to Alisson Becker’s late winner against West Brom.

It is the first time a goalkeeper has scored a competitive goal for Liverpool in their entire history and helped keep their top hopes alive.

The former AS Roma man scored an incredible injury-time winner as Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to claim all three points at The Hawthorns.

Liverpool won a corner in the final minute of stoppage time and Alisson rose highest to glance Trent Alexander-Arnold's delivery into the far corner of the net. And taking to Instagram after the game, Fabinho posted a video of himself just shaking his head in disbelief at what he had witnessed.

While Alisson can be seen in the background - presumably being shown a replay of his goal - by fellow Reds goalkeeper Adrian.

Speaking on the goal after the game, Reds boss Klopp said: "Wow, is a pretty good word. It was spectacular and a good game. What a moment!

“That is so far the highlight. I hope we have time for another highlight [this season]. It was a tricky game. Winning that way is really special. I couldn't be happier in the moment.

"It's the best goal I've ever seen scored by a goalkeeper! Striker's score like that. If Olivier Giroud scores like that you say it's a worldie. It's a worldie! Wow!

"[Alisson's] our player, our boy and our brother. When he is suffering we are all suffering. It's hard in these moments.

“There are more important things than football but when football can deliver moments like this for him, and all the boys, and our fans, then football is the best thing for a few seconds than anything else out there.

"We are not even halfway through.

"We have to win going to Turf Moor. We have to win."
