Fabinho drops early Liverpool team news hint ahead of Leicester City

Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has appeared to confirm he will return for the visit of Leicester City on Sunday evening.

The Brazilian - who has missed the last three matches in all competitions with a hamstring injury - is expected to form part of a makeshift centre-back pairing with Joel Matip against Brendan Rodgers' side.

Fabinho posted to his social media on Saturday with an emoji simply reading 'back' accompanied by a You'll Never Walk Alone hashtag and video of his Liverpool highlights.

The 27-year-old limped off half-an-hour into the Champions League win over FC Midtjylland with Liverpool also losing Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez in the same period.

Nathaniel Phillips and Rhys Williams have since stepped into the first-team but there was a further scare for the latter when he returned from England under-21 international duty as a precaution earlier this week.

Liverpool are without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and captain Jordan Henderson as well as Gomez and Van Dijk against Leicester but Thiago Alcantara could return.
