West Ham have completed their pre-season schedule with three wins and three defeats from their six games and now attention turns swiftly to the Premier League opener against Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.
Last weekend's Betway Cup match against Athletic Bilbao at London Stadium represented the last opportunity for Manuel Pellegrini to fine tune his players ahead of the long campaign getting underway, also in Stratford, against Pep Guardiola's side.
The Hammers manager has mostly had a full complement of players to choose from for all the matches though has had to do without a few players for the previous two friendlies thanks to some injury issues flaring up.
Ryan Fredericks returned to action on Saturday against Bilbao after missing the previous two games. Mark Noble though missed his third game in succession with a leg injury.
Lukasz Fabianski was a late withdrawal last midweek for the win over Hertha Berlin and also sat out the defeat to Bilbao, with manager Pellegrini confirming the Pole had undergone an MRI scan on a groin injury. He is rated at 50/50 for the game on Saturday.
