Latest West Ham injury news and potential return dates as Fabianski returns to light training

West Ham fans were delighted on Monday as a video emerged of Lukasz Fabaianski back in light training as he continues he rehab following hip surgery in September.

The video was posted on striker Albian Ajeti's Instagram account - which was later deleted - that showed the Polish stopper working with goalkeeping coach Xavi Valero and catching some footballs being fired at him from a machine at Rush Green's indoor facility.

Considering how his replacement, Roberto, has been getting on while deputising for Fabianski, the video was a welcome sight for Hammers fans and probably for under-pressure manager Manuel Pellegrini as well.

Roberto has been a disaster since replacing the injured Pole and the reigning Hammer of the Year can't return soon enough though he's still not expected to be available before Christmas at the earliest.

Prior to the international break, Pellegrini was dealt a blow when Manuel Lanzini fractured a collarbone in the 3-0 defeat to Burnley and has since undergone surgery and is now recovering.

He is expected to be out for around six to eight weeks which would rule him out for the rest of 2019.

Jack Wilshere missed his fourth game in a row as he was ruled out of the Spurs defeat after picking up his injury prior to the 1-1 draw with Sheffield United a month ago which was initially only a small problem, according to the manager.

Winston Reid has completed minutes for both New Zealand and the Hammers U23s in recent weeks as he closes in 0n a first team return for the first time in nearly 20 months.

Here is the latest injury news from the treatment room at Rush Green and some potential return dates.
