Switzerland dumped France out of EURO 2020 in dramatic style - winning the game 5-4 on penalties, with Newcastle defender Fabian Schar scoring one of the spot-kicks.
France's surprise exit understandably left their fans heartbroken - and Newcastle star Allan Saint-Maximin was one of those left gutted with the result.
He took to social media to describe it as a 'sad day for us' while also congratulating Toon teammate Schar for Switzerland's progression into the quarter-finals.

Schar, who scored his country's second pen, responded with 'sorry bro' and a trio of sarcastic emojis - understandable given the result put Switerzland into a quarter-final of a major tournament for the first time since the 1954 World Cup.
The game ended 3-3 in normal time and with neither side able to break the deadlock in extra time, it went to penalties.
PSG star Kylian Mbappé saw his penalty saved which handed the win to the Swiss.
Saint-Maximin also took to Twitter to defend Mbappé and to call out those fans who were criticising the forward for the penalty miss.
He accused some fans of 'lynching' Mbappé and reminded them that 'we win together, we lose together.'
