Fabian Delph's nod to Leeds United past on England duty with Thorp Arch starlet

Leeds United under-18s starlet Nohan Kenneh has shared a picture on social media posing with one of the club’s most successful academy graduates, Fabian Delph.

Kenneh, 16, has joined up with England’s under-18s over the international break, and is considered to be one of the hottest prospects on the club’s books.

"Don't forget your roots” read the caption on the youngster’s Instagram story, a nod to Delph’s past at Leeds. It’s thought to have been taken at England’s St George Park training complex.

He need not look much further than the Everton man for inspiration for how to achieve a successful senior career in football.

Having first made his debut under Gary McAllister as a 17-year-old, Delph became a key player for Simon Grayson’s side as they narrowly missed out on promotion from League One in 2008/09.

He subsequently moved to Aston Villa in the summer of 2009, going on win back-to-back Premier League titles with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and 20 caps for the Three Lions.
