Fabian Delph joins Everton from Man City on three-year deal

Everton have confirmed that Fabian Delph has signed from Manchester City on a three-year deal.

The 29-year-old England international, who joined City from Aston Villa in 2015, signs for an undisclosed fee.

He told the club website: "Every time I have played against Everton, whether it was home or away, straight away the first thing that comes to mind when you see the fans is passion.

"You are always going to hear Evertonians and I'm excited to play at home and hear them when I am playing."

Man City wished the midfielder well, with Delph telling their website: “I am extremely proud to have played for Manchester City and of what I have achieved here,” Delph said.

“I joined the Club with the aim of winning trophies and I am delighted I have been able to do that whilst playing alongside a fantastic group of players.

“I would like to thank all my team-mates, the staff and the fans for their support and I wish the Club all the best for the future.”
