Now more than ever, especially now I am nearing my mid 30s, my skincare routine is so important to me. It's hard sometimes to follow a routine when we get so bogged down and busy and it seems an extra chore on top of your day - but you can only reap the benefits of glowing skin if you make the effort.
I have always had quite a strict skincare routine, so trialling a new product line was second nature to me. I wanted to show you the results of really focusing on keeping your skin fresh and breathable now that the summer is particularly warming up.

Faace products are labelled as the ultimate skincare brand 'for skin disrupted by life' and this really is the case.
From initially using the Gel Cleanser, £26, I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin straight away to be honest.
So much so, that I went for a makeover in Liverpool's Flannels and they couldn't believe how good my skin was for my age (I was obviously over the moon!).
I have been doing a lot more training in the last two years so it's been so important for me to make sure my skin isn't suffering extra sweat, blood and tears from the gym and local swimming pool.
This cleanser is a lovely consistency and for me, a gel cleanser is always my favourite over creamy ones. I feel like I can really work them into my skin to get rid of all the debris and oils.
I also tried the brand's Sweaty mask after a gym and swim session and it has changed the way I look after my skin when I'm active in the heat.
What is great about this product is it's an all rounder. You can use it as a primer, as a mask for approximately 20 mins or you can sleep in it.
When I get home from training, which is mostly later in the evening, I put on quite a thick layer when I change into my pyjamas. I don't have to rinse it again then until the morning after.
What I think sometimes when it's warmer out is that we over complicate our skin routine which can just cause more irritation.
All I need to do is spritz my face with a hydrating mist (Huda Beauty's hydrating face mist is beautiful) and then jump into bed and it's a delight to use.
For a really affordable £27 the hybrid mask and primer is a great new innovative product to give a go.
The Results...
I would easily rate both products a 5/5. My skin feels rejuvenated, for combination skin I think this is sometimes hard to achieve without feeling an increase in oils or dryness from a strong cleanse.
I would highly recommend this line if you are active and need an easier routine, check out the website here.
