FA Cup semi-final draw date and ball numbers as Manchester United and Man City look to progress

Manchester United and Manchester City are both looking to progress to the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend.

City take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off), while United face Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Sunday (5pm kick-off).

Pep Guardiola's City side are the only team in England to still be in all four major competitions as they seek to complete an unprecedented quadruple.

A victory over Everton would take them one step further to doing so and equal last season's run to the semi-finals.

Last season, City suffered defeat in the semis to eventual winners Arsenal, who were knocked out earlier in this season's competition.

When the FA Cup semi-final draw?

The draw takes place at half-time of United's tie with Leicester on Sunday.

With a 5pm kick-off, it means the draw will take place at around 5.45pm.

How can I watch the draw?

Manchester United's game against Leicester will be shown live on BBC One.

That means the channel will also be showing the semi-final draw live, as well as on the online streaming platform iPlayer, and it does not currently appear on the BT Sport schedule.

Ball numbers

Southampton are currently the only team to book their place in the semi-finals.

The Saints recorded a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon to book their place in the last four.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side will be ball number two in the draw.

1 Everton or Man City

2 Southampton

3 Leicester City or Man United

4 Chelsea or Sheffield United

When are the semi-finals?

The semi-finals will take place at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 17.

That is ahead of a Wembley final on May 15.
