FA Cup final: Fans erupt as LFC team coach arrives at Wembley

By Olivia Williams

Fans cheered as the Liverpool FC team coach arrived at Wembley ahead of the FA Cup final.

The Reds will play Chelsea at Wembley Stadium today, with the hopes of winning another trophy. Liverpool have already beaten Thomas Tuchel's side at Wembley this season as they lifted the Carabao Cup following a penalty shootout victory.

Jurgen Klopp's side will be hoping to enjoy a similarly memorable afternoon today - and thousands of Reds fans have made the journey to London as Liverpool FC aim to win their second trophy of the season. Fans erupted as LFC's team coach arrived this afternoon.

Supporters held their scarves and banners in the air as the coach drove by. Some even let flares off, allowing plumes of red smoke reach the sky.

Liverpool and Chelsea meet again with the Reds already in the Champions League final and still hoping for a Man City Premier League slip in their quest for an unprecedented quadruple. They'll play the FA Cup final without Fabinho, who suffered a hamstring problem in the win at Aston Villa in midweek.

Chelsea, meanwhile, could be without Mateo Kovacic, but N'Golo Kante is back in contention. Kick off is at 4.45pm.
