FA Cup draw details as Nottingham Forest look ahead to fourth round

Lyle Taylor's strike saw Nottingham Forest safely through to the fourth round of the FA Cup, as they beat Cardiff City 1-0 at the City Ground.

And they will find out tomorrow who they will face next in the competition.

The Football Association have announced there will be a double draw on Monday evening (January 11).

So, the fourth round draw will be immediately followed by the draw for the fifth round.

This marks a change in the traditional approach but has been done to "aid fixture scheduling" in this most unusual of seasons, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

It follows a similar approach by the English Football League in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.

The draws will be hosted by Reshmin Chowdhury and conducted by former England striker Peter Crouch, and will form part of BT Sport 1’s pre-match coverage of the third round tie between Stockport County and West Ham United.

Fans can also watch the draws live via the official Emirates FA Cup Twitter and Facebook channels.

The fourth round draw is scheduled to start at 7.10pm, with the fifth round draw set to get under way at around 7.23pm.

The fourth round ties are due to be played around the weekend of January 23/24, with the fifth round set to take place in midweek, on Wednesday, February 10.

Ball numbers for the fourth round draw have now been allocated. The fifth round draw ball numbers will be generated once the fourth round has been drawn.

The Reds are ball number 11 for the fourth round draw.
