A new trailer for Fast & Furious 9 debuted during Sunday (7 February) night’s Super Bowl.
The action adventure was originally intended for release last May and teased at the 2020 Super Bowl, but was delayed due to the pandemic.
Now, with a newly scheduled US release of 28 May 2021, a new trailer for the film, named F9, dropped during Sunday night’s sporting event.
The trailer shows Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) attempting to settle down with his wife (Michelle Rodriguez) and young son.
However, considering it's the Fast & Furious franchise, the pair can't stay away from adventure for too long, with the arrival of Dom’s criminal brother Jakob (John Cena) spelling trouble.

“The world has a way of changing, but there’s one thing that always stays the same: you miss the old life,” Diesel says, with an assortment of car races, chases and crashes appearing on the screen.
The trailer also teases the return of Charlize Theron’s Cipher and Helen Mirren as Magdalene Shaw.
F9 is a follow up to 2017’s Fast & Furious 8 and is directed by Justin Lin.
Elsewhere in the Super Bowl, a new trailer for Marvel's forthcoming Disney+ series Falcon and Winter Soldier was also revealed.
