Edinburgh is to get its own brand new F45 gym as the company expands in and around Scotland.
The unique type of gym has proved a huge success in London, with over 40 sites now set up there, and will now make its first appearance in Edinburgh.
With F45 standing for 'functional 45 minutes', unlike a normal gym, members are slotted into different group style classes which each last a total of, you guessed it, 45 minutes.
Each of the workout sessions have been described as a "high intensity full body workout", with each session aiming to burn around 750 calories.
According to the gym, the site will be open seven days a week, with cardio classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Resistance classes will be held on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as well as a 'Hybrid' class on a Saturday.

Currently, the only Scottish F45 gym is in Glasgow, however the Edinburgh site should be opening on October 24 in Fountainbridge.
The new gym at 54 Fountainbridge will only be a short walk from the city centre and Haymarket station, and is said to incorporate different kinds of technology into their workouts.
The gym are still yet to confirm their membership prices, however the costs have been reported to work on a tiered system with more expensive and cheaper packages.
