F1 live stream: how to watch every 2024 race free online, Canada GP

Red Bull Racing's Dutch driver Max Verstappen takes a turn out on track in his midnight blue F1 car.

Watch F1 live stream 2024

We're off to Montreal next for the Canadian GP, so if you don't already know how to watch F1 live streams, now's a good time to find out. Races are shown live on ESPN (USA), Sky Sports (UK), Kayo Sports (Australia) and F1 TV Pro (RoW), though lucky fans in some countries – such as Austria – can watch a free F1 live stream of every GP! Use a VPN to pick up your usual stream from anywhere, if you're away from home. Full details on how to watch F1 on TV below.

F1 2024 season preview

With 31 points separating Max Verstappen from Charles Leclerc and 16 races to go, against all expectations a title battle is on. The Ferrari and McLaren engineering teams have done a superb job upgrading the cars, and for the first time since Verstappen became the F1 champion, the hunter has become the hunted.

Sergio Perez has already been swallowed up by not just Leclerc but Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz too – come the start of July, will the drivers' standings have a new leader?

Besides Mercedes, Aston Martin have been the biggest disappointments of the season. While Fernando Alonso has scored in every round, Lance Stroll's showings have got progressively worse as the season has worn on. Lawrence Stroll may own the team, but even he'll struggle to justify why Alonso has bagged three times as many points as his teammate.

There are no major rule changes, no rookies and no new tracks, and four more sprint races: the Austrian, US, Brazilian and Qatar Grands Prix. Read on as we explain how to watch F1 races online and on TV.
