F1 25 Update 1.16 Adds Livery Options, Fixes Invisible Bump at Bahrain and More

EA Sports pushed out F1 25 update 1.16 today on PC and consoles, setting the stage for the second half of the Survival Challenge arriving on December 17. The update also brings a handful of quality-of-life tweaks, new customization options and some fixes the community has been asking for.

Title Sponsor liveries that were previously restricted can now be used freely in My Team Career, giving players more control over how their car looks regardless of sponsor alignment. Any existing decal edits will still carry over, though some may need repositioning to avoid overlap with the built-in sponsor graphics.

A rare collision issue with an invisible bump at Bahrain’s turn 4 has been cleaned up, along with a handful of technical fixes across PC versions. Support has been added for VRS R295, Pro and Lite Formula wheels, along with VRS DirectForce Pro wheel bases and pedals. Other tweaks include better rain appearance in exported Highlights videos, adjustments to shadow quality on F2 2025 cars, corrected helmet usage for Kush Maini and updated tire wear on F2 vehicles to better match how they perform in real life.

The update will add a batch of new Casual Wear pieces to the Podium Pass Store on December 10, featuring real-world brands like Puma’s F1 fashion line, Alpinestars, Kappa, Patta, Stance and more. For additional details, make sure to visit the official blog.
