EA Sports has kicked off Season 4 for F1 25, running from November 12 through January 6, 2026. The new season adds a fast-paced competition mode, updated driver ratings and a collection of rewards inspired by the color and creativity of the 2025 Formula 1 season.
The highlight of this update is the new Survival Challenge mode that captures the intensity of Formula 1 through elimination rounds. With five cars on track and DRS active from the first lap, each short race ends with only one driver crossing the finish line. Players earn Survival Tokens based on their results, which can be exchanged for special items celebrating the unique styles of teams and drivers.
Throughout Season 4, players can use their Tokens to unlock designs, including Ferrari’s Monza livery, Red Bull’s Japan edition, Max Verstappen’s “Orange Lion” helmet, George Russell’s bright pink Miami version and more. Details on the event structure and full reward list are available on the official F1 25 blog.
The latest season also updates the Driver Ratings, factoring in real-world performances from Azerbaijan to Brazil. Carlos Sainz has seen his rating climb after a string of strong results, including delivering Williams its first full-points podium since 2017 and a solid Sprint showing in Austin. The update also highlights this year’s standout rookies and introduces Franco Colapinto to the grid, replacing Jack Doohan at Alpine. The change applies across all modes with Career Mode updates affecting new save files. Full driver ratings will be shared tomorrow.
