EA Sports has outlined what’s ahead for F1 25 as Season 2 begins today and runs through September 16.
This latest update adds new challenges and rewards inspired by recent storylines from the real-world grid. Players will get a shot at rewriting key moments, like Lewis Hamilton’s first Ferrari win in China and Kimi Antonelli’s disrupted pole attempt in Miami, through the game’s new Scenario Events.
Elimination Mode returns for a limited time through August 20 featuring F1 cars. With only 15 drivers on the grid, the pressure builds quickly as the last-place racer gets knocked out every 25 seconds. It’s a rapid-fire challenge that demands focus and those who manage to stay out front can pick up weekly rewards along the way. To jump into the mode, go to F1 World, then choose Play, head to Solo & Multiplayer Events and find Elimination mode under the Featured tab.
The game is also pushing out its first Driver Ratings update of the year tomorrow, July 24. These changes reflect recent driver performances with Oscar Piastri, Isack Hadjar and Kimi Antonelli all seeing big gains. There are also notable shifts for Max Verstappen, Carlos Sainz and Yuki Tsunoda as the balance of power shifts at the front and midfield.
As a bonus, players who log in between July 30 and September 16 will receive a special McLaren x Google Chrome livery — a nod to the team’s recent 1-2 finish at their home Grand Prix. More info on Season 2 can be found on the official game blog. Just in case you missed it, F1 25 patch 1.07 arrived earlier in the week, bringing a range of fixes and improvements. The complete list can be found in the patch notes.
