EA Sports F1 25 is available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, giving players a chance to jump into the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship. EA Play subscribers can try out the trial version of F1 25 for 5 hours.
This year’s edition lets players run the show as a team owner in My Team 2.0 or experience the ups and downs of life at the front of the grid in the returning story mode, Braking Point. There’s also a tie-in with the upcoming Apple Original Films’ F1 movie, with players able to hit the track as the fictional APXGP team in a preview chapter. More chapters are set to roll out after launch starting June 30.
The third chapter of Braking Point returns in F1 25, continuing the story mode with a new twist. Spread across two seasons, the narrative follows a familiar cast as a major incident shakes up their title-contending campaign. This time around, players get to see the story unfold from multiple driver perspectives, opening up new layers and alternate endings. Konnersport, the fictional team introduced in the previous game, is also now available in My Team, with an added option to join the grid as an 11th team in Driver Career.
F1 25 aims to narrow the gap between the game and real-life racing with upgrades on and off the track. My Team 2.0 lets players take full control of a team, handling everything from staff management to weekend strategy, with the ability to swap between drivers during races. On the technical side, five more circuits—Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka and Imola—have been laser-scanned during real race weekends, joining Silverstone in capturing the smallest on-track details.
