F1 2022 driver lineup: Full grid confirmed after Haas replace Nikita Mazepin

The 2022 Formula One season is almost upon us, with all 20 drivers now confirmed after Haas made a late change to their line-up.

After Max Verstappen claimed the 2021 title, teams are ready for a huge scrap with a rule overhaul setting up an enthralling season.

Williams and Alfa Romeo are both undertaking big changes in their garage, along with Mercedes after George Russell was promoted to the team he signed for as a junior in 2017.

The deal which put the Brit in the Merc saw Valtteri Bottas head to Alfa, who will enter the next season with an entirely new line-up when Kimi Raikkonen retires and Antonio Giovinazzi heads for pastures new.

Red Bull reserve driver Alex Albon has been called up by Williams and the Oxford team are one of a few who only have their drivers tied down to one-year deals as F1 enters a new era. Chinese F2 star Guanyu Zhou completes the Alfa line-up and Kevin Magnussen has been parachuted into Haas.
