Leeds United's Ezgjan Alioski has detailed the important message Marcelo Bielsa issued the squad during half-time of the clash against Fulham.
The Whites led 1-0 at the break thanks to Patrick Bamford's goal, but struggled to dominate in the opening 45 minutes, which led Bielsa to make significant changes at the break.
Alioski and Pablo Hernandez were both introduced and played a decisive role in a stellar second-half display, with the former on the scoresheet and Hernandez providing the assist for Jack Harrison's goal.
Bielsa has rightly been hailed for his tactical decisions and Alioski has now detailed the message issued during the interval.
“It was a really good day,” said Alioski. "When we see the first half, we said we were a little lucky because Fulham played really good football," he told the club's official website.
“We know we are not a team that wants to defend, we are a team that wants to attack and Marcelo Bielsa had a good talk inside and he woke us up and when we attacked, this made our day.
“It wasn’t comfortable for us, normally nobody wants to play against us in this way, with the way Fulham kept the ball and I have great respect for Fulham.
“We had the second half to change this, we wanted to stop Fulham from keeping the ball, we are physically strong and we could do this.
“We came into help the team, we saw from the bench how it was and we wanted to go in and help the team and change the game."
Leeds are back in action on Tuesday against Luton Town at Elland Road, which kickstarts a run of four matches across 13 days.
