Ezekiel Elliott to miss first game as Cowboy due to injury

The Dallas Cowboys will be without star running back Ezekiel Elliott for their game Sunday with the San Francisco 49ers.

Elliott will miss his first game due to injury with a calf issue.

Elliott suffered a calf bruise in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens. e did not practice during the week, but coach Mike McCarthy said he expected Elliott to be able to play.

This is first NFL game that RB Ezekiel Elliott (calf) will miss to injury. Cowboys S Xavier Woods (groin) will play today vs. 49ers.
