Ezekiel Elliott tests positive for Coronavirus per report

As testing ramps up and professional sporting leagues begin to try and get back to training and eventually playing, we’re going to start to see more and reports of some of these athletes testing positive for COVID-19. The pandemic is clearly not over, and as things reopen and restart in the sporting world, it is bound to happen.

The latest is a report from the NFL Network’s Ian Rap0port. According to his agent who confirmed it, former Ohio State and current Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is “feeling good” as he recovers.

It’s the new normal of where things are with getting sports back at close to what we are used to in this country.

Don’t look for a lot of these confirmations to come from the teams themselves because of privacy concerns, but as agents, sources, and the players themselves are open to confirming positive tests, we’ll hear about it.

Here’s to hoping for a speedy recovery for Elliott.
