Eyewitness: Borneo

A long-tailed slug, Ibycus rachelae
A long-tailed slug, Ibycus rachelae or 'ninja slug', that uses 'love darts' made of calcium carbonate to inject a hormone into a mate to increase the chances of reproduction. It is one of 123 new species discovered since 2007 in an unknown, remote area of dense, tropical rainforest known as the Heart of Borneo which borders Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei
