The Black Watch Museum at Perth ’s Balhousie Castle has a truly eye-popping new exhibition that will fascinate all age groups, young and old.
The BrickLive Caledonia ‘Scotland in Bricks’ exhibition opens at the weekend and is a collection of colourful brick models displayed within the castle taking you on an exciting journey through Scotland’s history, iconic landmarks and inspirational innovations.
With 16 models ranging from Scotland’s national animal, the unicorn, to a life-sized 19th century Black Watch soldier, staff at the museum are enthusiastic there is something for everyone.
On display until October 24, the exhibition is specifically designed to celebrate Scotland and Scotland’s history, making the castle and museum the perfect setting for its first outing.
The admission ticket provides hours of fun: all day unlimited access to the exhibition, entry to the play space, brick building activities, craft sessions and gallery trails.
The Black Watch Museum has laid on some specially created trails, as well as storytelling sessions.
