EY Scotland promotes Tricia Nelson to managing partner

EY Scotland has appointed Tricia Nelson as the UK and Ireland managing partner for People Advisory Services (PAS) with immediate effect.

She will be in charge of leading the firm’s people consulting strategy, working with clients on a range of issues from global mobility, reshaping the work environment to flex with new demands, restructuring and transactions.

Nelson has worked with EY for more than a decade, with her overall career spanning 25 years.

She has served as a talent leader for EY’s advisory consulting business and helped many organisations create a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Prior to that she worked in both the public and private sector, across people, talent and change management roles.

Nelson said: “The social impact and economic fall-out has been significant, and how businesses respond to this crisis, as well as Brexit, will be crucial in supporting economic recovery and prosperity.

“Organisations need to become much more adaptable to rapid change – and they need their people to be flexible and agile, at a time when it is getting more challenging to source, manage, motivate and retain talent while controlling costs.”
