ExtraEmily banned on Twitch after a near crash changes her latest livestream

ExtraEmily has been banned from Twitch once again after a dangerous moment during a June 28 IRL stream raised fresh concerns about distracted driving. A clip from the livestream showed the streamer looking away from the road while reading chat, nearly leading to a crash before she quickly regained control of the car. The incident spread across social media, and Dexerto later reported that Twitch had suspended her account. The latest ban comes after several difficult months that have already included a viewbotting controversy, online criticism, and a break from streaming.

ExtraEmily’s latest Twitch ban follows another distracted driving incident

The latest controversy began during ExtraEmily’s June 28 IRL stream. In the viral clip, she appeared to glance at her phone while driving and reading messages from viewers. As she made a turn, the car nearly collided with another vehicle before she corrected her path at the last second.

No one was injured, but the clip quickly sparked criticism across X and Reddit. Many viewers questioned why streamers continue to interact with chat while behind the wheel and called for Twitch to take stronger action against distracted driving during livestreams.

After the incident, ExtraEmily admitted she made a mistake and apologized to viewers. She accepted responsibility for what happened instead of blaming anyone else. Soon after, Dexerto reported that Twitch had banned her account following the incident.

The situation also reminded many people of an earlier case. In 2025, ExtraEmily faced another suspension after running a red light while streaming. That incident had already started a wider discussion about safety during IRL broadcasts, making the latest clip even more concerning for many viewers.
