Extra Jet2 flights to Turkey will increase options for holidaymakers and golfers

Airline and tour operator Jet2 has added more flights and holidays to the Turkish destination of Antalya to cater for growing demand from holidaymakers and golfers.

Customers travelling from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle Airports now have more choice when looking to book a holiday or golf break to Antalya. the extra flights coincide with a Jet2 promotion allowing golfers to transport clubs from just £1.

Turkey’s Antalya region is a rising star in the golfing world, thanks to 14 courses in the upmarket resort of Belek.

In recent years, the region has welcomed some of the world’s best players to a host of European tour events as well as the prestigious Turkish Open.

With world-class courses and a selection of fantastic golf hotels to choose from, golfers can enjoy pristine fairways as well as a wealth of first-class facilities on their golfing getaways.

The additional flights mean that customers looking to a welcome break in the sunshine next March can now choose from up to four weekly services to Antalya from Glasgow, and up to three weekly services from Edinburgh and Newcastle.

"Holidaymakers can enjoy beaches, culture, waterparks and incredible cuisine for amazing value and the wide selection of world-class courses, complemented by stunning hotels, makes Antalya a golfing paradise too.

"When you factor in the glorious sunny weather on top of that, Antalya in March is a very attractive proposition which is why we are increasing capacity in response to demand.

"We haven’t stopped there either, as golfers can also take their favourite clubs with them for just £1 thanks to our new golf carriage promotion.”
