Extinction Rebellion activists are marching in a funeral procession down Oxford Street.

The group have said the "grief march" is a procession for people to remember all that has been lost due to climate change.

Earlier today Animal Rebellion, an offshoot group, stopped traffic entering Billingsgate fish market when one of their members chained himself to a gate.

Scotland Yard has already made more than 1,000 arrests this week amid demonstrations across the capital.
