Extinction Rebellion activists are taking to the streets across five cities in the UK as part of a "summer uprising".
The group gathered in London, Glasgow, Cardiff, Bristol and Leeds today, with action set to continue throughout the week.
Its members are calling for the Government to "ACT NOW to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025".
Protesters have already blocked the Strand in London, pulling a boat into the area as they gather across roads, in similar action to that which they carried out in London earlier this year.
