Extinction Rebellion ecowarriors glue themselves to fence outside Jeremy Corbyn's home

Campaigners from a climate change group with strong Bristol links have glued themselves to a fence outside Jeremy Corbyn's home.

The four Extinction Rebellion activists stuck to the Labour leader's fence have been spoken to by police.

They said it was a bid to get Corbyn to commit to tackling environmental threats, the Mirror reports.

The protesters said they are "all Jeremy Corbyn supporters" but want the Labour Party to do more to address climate change.

The Bristol branch of the ecowarrior movement kept up a blockade of Oxford Circus throughout Monday (April 15), as part of city centre-wide disruption in London.

The group has brought traffic to a standstill in Bristol many times over the past few months, including staging ‘die-ins’ in Cabot Circus and at Bristol Airport, as well as marches and blockades throughout Bristol.
