'Extensive' search underway for missing 11-year-old boy

Merseyside Police is carrying out "extensive" searches for an 11-year-old boy who has been missing since this morning.

11-year-old Abdullah Akram was reported missing on the morning of Tuesday, December 28.

Abdullah was last seen on Belvidere Road in Toxteth at around 10.10am.

Merseyside Police is carrying out what it said are extensive enquiries to find the missing boy.

Abdullah is of Middle Eastern ethnicity and is 4ft 10in tall and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black Nike tracksuit, black Adidas shoes and carrying a small satchel.

He is known to frequent the Toxteth area.

Merseyside Police has asked if anyone has sighted Abdullah to report it via their form here - https://www.merseyside.police.uk/ro/report/mp/v2/report-sighting-of-missing-person-form/

They have also said any information regarding his whereabouts can be passed on to them on Twitter at @MerPolCC or by calling 101.
