The Washington Redskins are now entrenched in the second week of training camp, and as they prepare to face off against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday evening for their first preseason game of the season, several veterans are getting some time off in order to remain healthy.
On Sunday, the ninth day of practice, a total of six players, young and old, took a day for rest.
It can be assumed that Moses, Peterson, Dunbar, and Stroman are all just taking a break to heal up bumps and bruises — and prevent further wear and tear — as we have not heard of anything more serious. Sweat and Alexander have already been listed as day-to-day with minor injuries as well.
