Coles Manuka, Assembly in Braddon and JB Hi-Fi in Fyshwick are among 14 exposure sites identified in the ACT, after a positive case of coronavirus was detected in the territory on Thursday.
Anyone who attended any of the venues listed during the exposure times is considered a close contact and must quarantine for 14 days and get tested.
A man in his 20s from Gungahlin who was infectious in the community since Sunday has been identified as the positive case.
ACT Health said the case was under investigation with contact tracing under way.
"It is apparent this new case spent time in the community while infectious and visited a large number of venues," a spokesperson said.
"Concerningly, there is no established link to any known cases in NSW at this time."

Additionally, ACT Health has also been notified of positive wastewater detections at the City-Central, North Canberra and Woden Valley collection sites, as well as the Lower Molonglo site.
ACT Health also requires those people to complete an online form available on the ACT COVID-19 website.
Additionally, anyone who attended the Canberra Outlet Centre outside of the individual outlets listed above between 2pm and 3.30pm on August 8 must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop, ACT Health has advised.
"ACT Health will be updating the ACT COVID-19 website regularly, with exposure locations posted each day," a spokesperson said.
"Even if you have not been in an exposure location please be extra vigilant when monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19 and get tested immediately if you experience even the mildest of symptoms.
"We will continue to provide regular updates on the situation as it emerges."
