A police investigation is underway after a mindless yob threw an explosive device into a Kilmarnock shop.
A so-called ‘boom bag’ was lobbed into JD Sports on Saturday, February 29, at 4.05pm.
The ‘joke’ item exploded in the shop and the perpetrator fled the scene.
Officers are appealing for information.
Anyone that can help is asked to call PC Hanaford Bennett on the non-emergency 101 police number quoting the reference of 3227.
