Explore the city and find clues with the help of Benedict Cumberbatch in new Sherlock Holmes game

A brand-new outdoor detective game is now available to experience in Liverpool.

From the makers of Sherlock: The Official Live Game, where you need to help the titular character complete his mission.

Starting at Wellington Memorial Statue, participants will be assisted along the way with the cast of the hit BBC show, including Benedict Cumberbatch, as they search for key evidence and uncover clues to solve the mystery around the city.

Included is pre-recorded videos, voicemails and texts from the likes of Mark Gatiss and Andrew Scott, while participants will receive a debrief scorecard email after the event has finished.

The game is accessed via QR codes which will be sent to you following your booking and require you to download the app onto your phone.

In Robert Downey Jr's film adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, Liverpool was featured as the background for iconic scenes featuring Jude Law.

More recently, the palm house in Sefton Park was transformed for a Sherlock Holmes spin-off drama, The Irregulars.

It is advised to complete the game in groups of two-six and solving the mystery should take around two hours.

To book, just select your chosen day – you can play at any time, so there’s no rush to make a certain time slot although It is highly recommend playing in daylight hours for health and safety reasons.

Tickets cost £15 per person or £13 concession. Children between 7-17 years of age cost £10 but must be accompanied by an adult.
