I think we are in for an otherworldly Alabama season. After being embarrassed on the national stage in the title game last year, I have a feeling Saban and the boys will be out for blood this season.

With the most talented QB and WR corps Bama has had under Saban, along with a defense full again with talent, we could see a performance for the ages in Tuscaloosa.

Clemson is going to do its little song and dance over lesser ACC foes, but the Tide will be more than ready.

Of course Alabama is going to win the national championship. Do you really think the program is going to be anything less than amazing after that?

There might be a misfire along the way, and it almost has to happen that way.  There needs to be some sort of stress and strain along the way – the Tide don’t seem to handle the No. 1 seed all that well; no one does – but all the one loss will do is refocus the efforts for the best team in college football.

The real curveball will be the opponent – Oklahoma.

No. 3 Alabama beats No. 2 Clemson, No. 1 Oklahoma beats No. 4 Michigan, Bama beats Jalen Hurts and the Sooners.
