Expensive whisky collection stolen from house in Musselburgh at weekend

A rare and expensive whisky collection was stolen from a house in Musselburgh at the weekend.

Police are investigating a theft from a property on Park View which happened between midday and 3pm on Sunday.

Numerous bottles of whisky were taken, including two 500ml bottles of Chivas Regal, a RNLI Special Edition Highland Park and a Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve which was in a red presentation box.

Other brands stolen include Glenmorangie, Crawford 5*, Lochandra, Jura Y2 and Tamnavuilin.

Officers say that jewellery and cash was also taken.

Anyone with information about this theft, or who knows anything about the stolen property, should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2907 of 28 July. Alternatively get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
