Expeditions Year 1 Pass Wraps Up with Season Four: Amber Dusk

Expeditions is wrapping up its first year with the launch of Season 4: Amber Dusk, bringing an autumn vibe and some rugged challenges to finish things off. The update takes players to the Tatra Mountains, introducing two new locations, Cat’s Spine Ridge and Owl Lake Ridge. These maps mix flooded valleys, caves and sights offering a nice blend of exploration and challenge.

To help tackle the landscape, three new trucks join the garage. The Shiba Dart SR-V is a tough little pickup built for scouting, the G&S Caravan A1 is a solid all-around workhorse and the ANK XM75 is a heavy-duty off-road beast ready for the roughest terrain. There are also two new specialists to recruit: a Manager who can switch up the contents of airdrops and an Operator who uses drones to set up terrain objects in hard-to-reach spots.

Everyone gets something in this update, even without the Year Pass. The TUZ 93 Kelpie, a free amphibious truck, makes crossing water a lot less stressful, especially when trying to reach distant areas of the Carpathians. Players can also try out the new Portable Bridge and Tow Rope gadgets, which make crossing obstacles and linking vehicles much easier. There’s also a vehicle favorites tab, a gearbox overhaul, UI updates and fixes. Check out the official forums for the full patch notes.

Amber Dusk is the last major content update for Expeditions. It’s included with the Supreme or Year 1 Edition or available to purchase for $11.99. From now on, the focus shifts to improving stability and squashing critical bugs. New content will only come through player-made creations on mod.io, letting the community take over from here.
