Manchester City supporters have offered up a mixed response as Ilkay Gundogan replaces Belgium superstar Kevin de Bruyne against Brighton.
Having coasted to a third Premier League title in four seasons, Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team slipped to defeat on the opening day - against Tottenham minus Harry Kane - but normal service has been resumed since that eye-catching 1-0 reverse.
Brighton have, meanwhile, been something of a surprise package in the early days of this campaign.
Beaten only once so far, the Seagulls have already picked up 15 points from eight matches - although have drawn their last three.
City head into their latest Premier League showdown on the back of a five-star European victory over Club Brugge, which followed a 2-0 victory against Burnley.
From that Champions League game, Guardiola has made two changes to his line-up; with Gundogan back after his injury for de Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus replacing Riyad Mahrez.
Here are a selection of comments made by City supporters on social media platform Twitter;
@CambrookJac said: "Okay. I was not expecting Pep not to start KDB as he's been getting better recently and the midfield has been working really well, but I'm happy with the same defence and no [Raheem] Sterling."
@MCFCDon2 posted: "[Jack] Grealish masterclass pending."
@mr_aguia added: "Exactly what I expected and hoped for. Let's go."

@Mcfchonest added: "Usually when both Mahrez and de Bruyne are on the bench it could be costly."
