Expanding healthy eating cafe is on the move to a new site in Nottingham

A popular healthy eating cafe that began as a delivery service is on the move into bigger premises.

Nutri2Go will be opening in newly built premises in the heart of Lenton, near the Savoy Cinema in Derby Road.

Former student Jordana Chin, from Malaysia, launched the business three years ago during her final year at the University of Nottingham to plug a gap in healthy food options at that time.

After delivering internationally-inspired nutritious hot and cold meals by bicycle, the 26-year-old went on to open a cafe in a shared space in Triumph Road.

"Now it's time to have our own cafe, serving nutritious food and providing hang-out space in the area," said Jordana, a qualified nutritionist, who has been nominated for and won numerous awards.

"Nottingham City Council has done an amazing job reinventing the area. It is really the perfect time for us to bring our cafe here."

The cafe will be selling meal boxes such as salmon soba noodles and chicken fajita wraps, salads, healthy sweet treats and fresh juices.

Jordana hopes to open the cafe next month.
