A dream job opportunity has opened up at an exotic watering hole in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
Floyd Forbes – owner of Floyd’s Pelican Bar in Jamaica – is looking for a temporary bartender to cover his shifts so he can take his first break in eight years.
And Virgin Holidays is offering the ideal candidate free flights and accommodation to boot.
The firm began a search for the right person to keep the pina coladas and rum punches flowing at the sun-drenched bar – built on stilts in the ocean off Negril and accessible only by boat.

The job advert, launched with the help of model Jodie Kidd, said: “You’ll pull pints in one of the most Instagrammable drinking spots in the world.
"With flights and seven nights accommodation included, you’ll enjoy a taste (and a sip or two) of the Caribbean.”
Floyd’s dream of creating an ocean bar a mile from shore became a reality in 2001 and was named after a bunch of pelicans which perch on the sandbar nearby.
It was initially a spot for Floyd and his fellow fisherman to cool down after a day at sea but soon became a hit with holidaymakers.

The original bar was destroyed in 2004 by Hurricane Ivan but the local community came together to help restore it to its former glory.
