The Australian Art Orchestra and Ensemble Offspring are joining up to present Exit Ceremonies, an immersive work that showcases the extraordinary array of sonic effects that can be achieved with large pipe organs.
One of the works is composed by Alvin Lucier, a giant in the American experimental music scene, while piano composers Austin Buckett and Simon James Phillips, have composed two additional works. Together the works combine acoustic and electronic instruments, turntables, strings, vocals and percussion.
