In the 60s, Jimi Hendrix rented a Brook Street flat directly beside the former residence of another musical genius, the 18th-century composer George Frideric Handel. To mark the 40th anniversary of the guitarist's death, the Handel House Museum is putting on a display of Hendrix memorabilia with the flat itself open to view for two weeks (15-26 September).
