Exhibitionist 2108: Arabicity
Arabicity: Such a Near East, Liverpool
A range of paintings, installations, photo works and videos combine to offer a representation of Arab culture "far greater than the daily news bulletins we receive". Exhibitionist 2108: Bystanding
Bystanding, Cardiff
Three artists explore how peripheral vision can quietly reshape our world. Lauren Elizabeth Jury documents the output of road worker/artist George Cole in photographs, Mark Folds adds surreal touches to street furniture in his "outstallations" and Will Woon constructs a model of a Welsh cottage to illustrate the government's poor handling of flooding. At g39 in Cardiff until 25 September 2010

Exhibitionist 2108: Dartboard For The Witches
The Dartboard for Witches, Aberystwyth
With a title taken from a Sylvia Plath poem, this contemporary textiles exhibition wields meticulous craft skills to distinctly diabolical ends to combine the contradictory impulses of seduction and revulsion. Hairpurse, above, is ... well, you get the picture. Be unnerved at Aberystwyth Arts Centre by 18 September 2010

Exhibitionist 2108: Daydreaming... With James Lavelle
Daydreaming ... With James Lavelle, London
The UNKLE frontman shows that his ability to think big remains undeterred with this pop-up show in which artists and designers involved in a forthcoming compilation get the chance to respond to Lavelle's music visually. At London's Haunch of Venison from 27 to 31 August 2010

Exhibitionist 2108: Gallery Artists' Review
Gallery Artists' Review, London
This outstanding lens-based media show captures nostalgia and faded glamour along with scenes of contemporary baroque S&M decadence in Manhattan. Also present are calligraphic inky fashion portraits by the 92-year-old Lillian Bassman. Catch it at the Wapping Project Bankside until 4 September 2010

Exhibitionist 2108: Hendrix In Britain
Hendrix in Britain, London
In the 60s, Jimi Hendrix rented a Brook Street flat directly beside the former residence of another musical genius, the 18th-century composer George Frideric Handel. To mark the 40th anniversary of the guitarist's death, the Handel House Museum is putting on a display of Hendrix memorabilia with the flat itself open to view for two weeks (15-26 September). Visit the Handel House Museum in London from 25 August to 7 November 2010

Exhibitionist 2108: Lucy Skaer
Lucy Skaer, Newcastle upon Tyne
A small but enchanting exhibition showing Skaer's command of poetic ambiguities. Includes The Great Wave (Expanded), a massive triptych of graphite and ink markings that coalesce into a semi-abstract nocturne (pictured). See it at Laing Art Gallery by 12 September 2010.

Exhibitionist 2108: Sara Mackillop
Mary Redmond/Sara MacKillop, Dundee
Recent work by two artists who use industrial, commercial and consumer cast-offs to set up enigmatic sculptural scenarios. Redmond, inspired by travels in Asia, offers a series of fragile, tenuous assemblages, while MacKillop forces us to give apparently banal items the attention usually reserved for religious icons. At Dundee Contemporary Arts until 10 Octover 2010
