Exhibitionist1610: Charlie Tweed
Charlie Tweed, Bristol
Navstevnici, Notes Part II (2009) is part of a series of sci-fi infused short videos by the young artist, which balances a perfectly orchestrated sense of unease with wit and observation. At Spike Island until 28 November

Exhibitionist1610: Joanna Kirk
Joanna Kirk, Llandudno
There's a strong hint of rural panic in Joanna Kirk's pastel landscapes, collectively titled Miles To Go Before I Sleep. On first sight these seem obsessively detailed images of the gothic picturesque. Then you notice the little lone child staring out from a tangle of undergrowth. At Oriel Mostyn gallery until 6 November

Through photography, video and doctored found images, Tim Davies looks at the symbolism of the architecture of power: cathedrals, mansion houses, iconic bridges. His exhibition Between a Rock and a Hard Place includes the work Bridges, 2009, pictured above. At Oriel Mostyn gallery, until 6 November

At The Curve, Barbican Art Gallery, until 16 January

Exhibitionist1610: Move
Move: Choreographing You, London
This exploration of the two-step between contemporary art and dance is full of sculptures to get the body and brain moving. Iconic pieces include Bruce Nauman's Green Light Corridor, pictured here, where visitors must squeeze through a narrow aperture. At Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre until 9 January

Exhibitionist1610: From Back Home
From Back Home, Bradford
In 2001, the Swedish photographers Anders Petersen and JH Engström, born a generation apart, began a project about the Värmland area where they separately grew up. The results are often dark, and almost dreadful, intimations of close relationships now forever distant. At National Media Museum, until 27 March

Exhibitionist1610: Shadow Catchers
Shadow Catchers, London
The 75 images made by five pioneers of camera-less photography are often deeply personal one-offs. There's an emphasis on what can't be seen in Adam Fuss's photogram of a baby – Invocation, pictured above – exploring transcendent moments. At V&A, until 20 February

Subodh Gupta, Glasgow
A star of the new, internationally ambitious Indian contemporary art world, Subodh Gupta elevates the contents of our kitchens into sculptures of monumental scale and import. Pictured above: Curry 2 (1), 2005. At Tramway, until 12 December
