Exhibition time

The art installation set against changing imagery.

Seiko (Thailand) managing director Katsumi Kubota and general manager Kenichi Kito recently hosted the opening reception of "The Flow Of Time'' exhibition at Central Embassy.

The exhibition featured an art installation by Takt Project studio, whose lead designer Satoshi Yoshiizumi explained how he drew inspiration from the Grand Seiko Spring Drive movement.

Its parts and the completed movement are sealed in objects, with the screen behind showing changing imagery depicting nature and the flow of time from a movie by computer graphic designer Shingo Abe.

A selection of Grand Seiko's Spring Drive watches were on display for guests to appreciate the Japanese technology in both electronic and mechanical watchmaking.
