The Royal Commission for Al-Ula Province inaugurated on Monday "Al-Ula, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Wonder" exhibition at the Arab World Institute in Paris.

The event was organized with international cooperation between the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Province and the Arab World Institute.

Saudi Minister of Culture and Governor of the Royal Commission for Al-Ula Province Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan opened the exhibition with the participation of French Minister of Culture Franck Riester and the President of the Arab World Institute Jack Lang, in the presence of a number of Saudi princes and officials.

The exhibition aims to introduce visitors to the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Al-Ula, which is located in northwestern Saudi Arabia.

They will learn about Al-Ula’s 7,000-year history through various works of art, paintings and archaeological sculptures.

In opening the exhibit, Prince Badr hailed the close cooperation between Saudi Arabia and France, promising that Al-Ula will become an exceptional tourist destination.

For his part, Riester lauded the ongoing Saudi-French cultural partnership, saying the exhibition reflects the strong bonds between them.

Lang said the exhibition was a “historic” moment in ties between Riyadh and Paris, describing it as an “adventure in nature, history and humanity”.
