Exeter independent shop closes - but it's expanding elsewhere

An independent business in Exeter's buzzing high street has announced it will soon close - but it's opening two new stores elsewhere.

Aromatika: The Beauty Rooms, has been trading for three years, but they're calling time on their city location.

The store, which is spread over three floors, has beauty rooms offering therapies such as massages and facials and it also sells skincare and bath products.

They have announced their closure in a sign put up in the shop front's window, Devon Live reported.

It said that their other businesses in other Devon locations were not going to be affected and that the Exeter store would aim to close towards the end of next month.

The sign read: "We're closing, last day 20th July.

"The rest of our business is not affected, so please visit us online at aromatika.co.uk or one of our other stores.

"Totnes, Honiton (new store), Dartmouth, Teignmouth (new store)."

Founder and owner Lisa Hosking started Aromatika in 2004 and runs the business from her home just outside Tiverton.

She is passionate about offering women natural alternatives to everyday skin care.

Aromatika products are hand made in Devon using the best ingredients and are free from any chemical ‘nasties’.
