A Devon gin company has turned its hand to a new type of production to help those most in need as the coronavirus pandemic sweeps across the globe.
Popular family-run gin company Exeter Gin has recently announced new hand made sanitisers that they will be sent out directly to frontline staff during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They revealed the new product on their Facebook page over the weekend.
The post read: "We are so proud (if not a little emotional) after such a long week to show you our hand sanitiser that will be going out directly to frontline staff, many thanks to all who have helped our family business move from making gin to hand sanitiser practically overnight.
As a family that run this business over the the last year we have personally faced Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, so we completely applaud and recognise the effort and personal sacrifice it is taking at the moment.

In a comment on their page they added that they are currently only working with businesses and institutions that supply frontline services, but might look to providing personal supplies when or if they have more capacity to do so.
