Exeter-based national technology firm Software Solved has announced its new managing director.
Lindsay Lucas has been with the business for nine years, most recently as operations director, working on key projects within the business and for clients including Thrifty, South Hams District Council and Sparkle.
Thomas Coles, Chairman of Software Solved, said: “Lindsay was the natural person to take on the role and we are delighted that she has chosen to accept this new and exciting challenge. Her success in building the first class operation that we have today in Software Solved has been down to her dedication, hard work and unquestionable talent.

Since 1998, Software Solved have delivered over 1,000 successful software development projects for some of the UK’s most innovative brands.
Software Solved, a member of the South West Business Council, works with organisations in the South West on data and software solutions including Power BI data visualisation portals and system support and upgrades for the likes of South Hams District Council, the National Trust and Devon County Council.
In her new role, Lindsay will continue to guide the team to ensure the highest standards of work for customers and will work closely with Chairman Thomas Coles and directors to ensure that Software Solved stays at the forefront of innovation and continues to deliver the best software, data and support solutions well into the future.

Lindsay has worked in a range of roles through her career including PA to three directors at Eclipse/KCom, technical project manager at KCom, service delivery and hosting manager at software solved and support manager at Software Solved, before being promoted to operations director.
She has always been very passionate, tenacious and driven throughout her career and enjoys working in technical and innovative environments.
